Frequently Asked Questions:
What should I expect on my first visit??
On your first visit, your therapist will perform a complete evaluation to determine the best care approach. The evaluation involves a thorough history, tests, and measures that allow your therapist to have a more specific and in-depth understanding of your condition. Your therapist will make a clinical judgment as to your diagnosis and prognosis. A customized treatment program will be developed, aimed at resolving the problems identified and attaining the goals set by you and your therapist.
How long will my visit last?
As a rule of thumb, anticipate being with us for at least 60 minutes for your first visit. Visit time and your ongoing therapy program will vary according to what the therapist uncovers during the evaluation. There is no specific time limit for therapy and your treatment program will be updated according to your individual needs.
